I use 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla and my recipe makes 3 dozen using the scoop. Great recipe!

I’ve been making these as bars for at least 2 decades! I simply cover a 10×15″ pan with foil, pour the mixture on, and gently smooth it out. You have to be careful not to press down on it too much, or it turns into a replacement for cement 😕

I just made these with whipping cream instead of milk and I added a cup of chocolate chips. These taste phenomenal! Thank you for this amazing recipe!

They do great as a bar cookie. I did it several times. Just press them on in the pan . Let the cool and cut. I have found using a spatula to get the out is best!

I haven’t only used butter and haven’t tested the recipe with margarine.
