Was wondering how you think it would work if I put items in crockpot besides the crackers and butter and then do crackers and butter on skillet until crisp and sprinkle on top?:)

Perfect dish! I wanted it to make it so I could get two meals each for my husband and I so I boiled linguine noodles and added it to the mix before adding the Ritz. Everything else was the same. Thank you! I’m adding this dish to incorporate it into our easy (and often) quick cook meals.

this recipe is awesome on its own but I took the liberty of adding cottage cheese and cream cheese from the million dollar chicken casserole. I accidentally added the 5 tbsp of butter to the casserole instead of to the ritz crackers. it tasted wonderful!!

Thank you for the recipe!I layer two sleeves of crushed crackers on the bottom,use spray butter to coat crackers. Can of cream of chicken and can of cream of mushroom with garlic sour cream and shredded chicken mixed together spread mixture on top of crackers. Add two more sleeves crackers on top, spray with butter.
